Earthquake!

This morning at 11:45am we had an earthquake. I felt it really strong here at work and Tracy said it was really strong at home too. Here's a news article on it: click here

Weekend Fun

We had a great time Saturday at Newport Beach hanging out and swimming and surfing. Then on Sunday after church, Gordon and I went to Newport Harbor and went kayaking for the afternoon. It was a great weekend!

Kayak Brunch

On Saturday, I joined my regular group of kayaking friends for a Newport Harbor to Crystal Cove paddle. We paddled to Crystal Cove, landed on the beach, ate some sandwiches, and launched and headed back to Newport. It was Blake's b-day so he celebrated by getting thrashed with a breaking wave on the beach landing and breaking his paddle in half!! Everybody else managed to remain carnage-free.

Fitness Paddle 07/10/08

Last night was another good fitness paddle in Newport Harbor! I got to try out my new Pentax Optio W20 waterproof camera and am quite pleased with it.
