Kayaking

I went out for another great night of kayaking last night. There were 5 of us plus two new folks joined us last night but the new folks decided to stay in the harbor. It was fairly windy last night which made for some fun paddling. Once we rounded the jetty and lost the protection of the rock wall we experienced the full force of the wind and the fun waves it was kicking up. The swell was fairly small last night so it wasn't that "confused" out there like it was a couple of weeks ago when I took my unintended swim. When we were about 3/4 of the way to "the rock", I decided to look back and make sure Kevin and Ces were still with us and we couldn't see them so we (Blake, Tsunami Chuck, and myself) decided to head back. On the way back we spotted them hanging around near the end of the breakwater. It turns out that they decided to hang out in the harbor with the new folks. It was a fun night of paddling!
